Overview
You'll notice right away how much Mae's Place feels like a family home. That's because, of course, it was. For many years this stately farmhouse was the centre of this rural fishing community. Five bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry and a propane-fireplace give you everything you need for a friendly, comfortable stay.
From the way the sunporch lets you watch the sun rise over the Northumberland Strait, to the way the restored hardwood floors show five decades of boot-marks, to the glass doorknobs and the detailed pine workmanship, just stepping inside the door is a bit of a step back in time, and a step away from the everyday.
